Ever since self-publishing on Amazon became an option, I've been intrigued. But also intimidated. It seemed complicated and technical and like something I couldn't do.
I wrote a story this summer, Underwear Probation, with the intent of self-publishing it, come hell or high water, as they say. I finished the story up and got some feedback over the weekend and was ready to go.
But then I started wondering if I should send it to a publisher. They make such nice covers and handle all that technical stuff. I started to waver in my goal.
Don't worry...my husband set me straight."You said you were going to do it and you'll never know how it works out unless you try."
I made a cover. I think it looks pretty good, especially for my first time.
And, if all goes according to plan, the book will be available later today.
