Spanking Stories Book Club: A Taste of Discipline by Casey McKay

This month I've been featuring books that are available through Kindle Unlimited. Today's book is A Taste of Discipline by Casey McKay. 

Blurb: Sam is a classically trained chef. She runs her kitchen like a well-oiled machine, and steam rolls anyone who gets in the way of that. She likes to be in control and has a hard time adjusting when she can't be. 

Ryan is her husband and partner. As the manager of the restaurant they own, he tries to ensure that his wife is not over working herself and not blowing up at their employees. 

They're trying to find a balance in life, love, and cooking. It just might take a little discipline. 

This book includes themes of domestic discipline, spankings, graphic sex, anal play, and more. If any of this subject matter offends you, please do not purchase this book.  

This was a fun, quick read about Sam and her husband as they try to run a restaurant together. 

Discussion questions: 

1. Can spouses work together without it causing problems? Here, Sam is the chef, but Ryan is also involved in running the business. If he's the Head of their Household, is he also the head of the business? 

2. Have you ever worked for a husband/wife combo? If so, how did that go? 

3. Sam and Ryan have quite a bit of fun in the kitchen after the restaurant is closed. I bet many of you have worked in restaurants. Confession time....what sorts of naughty things did you do? 

4. One of the issues that came up for Sam and Ryan is that she sort of got out of control, but he also lost track of paying attention to her moods to see that she was heading for a meltdown. Has this ever happened to you in real life? Does the husband's lack of attention to his wife's emotional needs reduce her culpability?

Spanking Stories Book Club: Little Katelyn's Diary by Leena Darling

2. This book is really a short story, about 24 pages total. Do you prefer short stories or full length novels or does it depend on your mood? 

3. The book includes diapering---because Katelyn's panties are often soaking wet from her arousal. What do you think? If you're a fan of age play, is diapering a plus for you? 

4. Many non-age play books include "bratting", which is basically pretty childish behavior. Do you think there's much difference between the two? 

5. Katelyn's husband takes complete care of her during their special weekend. If you could have a man take care of everything for you for an entire weekend, but without the age play elements, would that be appealing?

Kindle Unlimited Month: Dom Wars by Lucian Bane

Spanking Stories Book Club: Caught & Punished by Caia Fox

This month I am featuring spanking books that are available through Kindle Unlimited. Kindle Unlimited is a program where you pay a monthly fee and then can borrow an unlimited number of books which are enrolled in the program. Not all books on Amazon are in Kindle Unlimited, but I've found enough to keep me entertained.  I am not getting a kickback from Amazon. I just like the program. You can learn more here.

One of the things I like about Kindle Unlimited is that it's a risk free way to try out new authors so when I saw Caught & Punished by Caia Fox I gave it a try. It was a fun read and I'm excited to share it with all of you. You can see more of her titles (many available on Kindle Unlimited) here.

What do you think? How would you feel if your husband was sharing your private performances with someone else?

I know Christmas is over and you've put away all the decorations, but there are so many fun Christmas themed spanking stories out these days, I thought I'd feature one here. Keeping the Christmas spirit alive!

2. Carolyn, the heroine, works at the Dollar Store. What do you think about a heroine with a pretty ordinary (and possibly undesirable) job? 

3. Celia and Jim are Carolyn's friends who have an "old fashioned" marriage. There are a couple references in the story to Jim spanking Carolyn, once in the past and also that he intended to spank her when she got locked out of her house, except Nick took care of the task for him. What do you think? Would you want your husband to spank your friend? Or how would you feel about a friend's husband spanking you? 

4. This story takes place over a very short span of time, two or three days, yet Nick proposes at the end of the story. I know we all like a happy ending, but can you have a happy ever after without marriage?

Spanking Stories Book Club: Getting Ready for 2015!

It's been two years since I started Spanking Stories Book Club. Originally we discussed one book per month, then switched to one per week. We've had wonderful guest hosts and many memorable discussions.

When I came up with the idea, I never imagined how popular it would become.

I haven't been around much for the last few months and I'm incredibly grateful to all the guest hosts who have kept Spanking Stories Book Club going.

I'm back and rested up and excited for 2015. I hope you are too!

But...I need some suggestions for books to read. Please help me out!
