Hey! Remember me?

 Hello, hello, hello!

Wow, it has been a long time since I've posted on my blog. More than three years.

I'm sorry. I've missed you.

You know how everyone is going one way and then there's that person who goes the other? That's me, it seems. I don't mean to be contrary.

But, in a world where everyone is using TikTok, I've decided to rejuvenate my blog. I hope you'll hang around and see what happens. It will be a surprise for all of us.

I have a newsletter. "Everyone" says that's the thing you need to connect with readers. But, is that really connecting? I feel like I'm imposing by sending stuff to people's inbox and I tend to keep my newsletters short and to the point. I don't want to be a bother.

With a blog, you can stop by when it suits you and see what's up. If you'd like to get notified of new posts, you can sign up over there --->  where it says "Follow." There's also a spot to sign up for my newsletter and you're welcome to do that too. I still send them regularly.

As I was updating my blog, I scrolled through some of the old posts and comments and it made me really happy to remember the fun times we had.

Let's do that again.

What about you? Do you like getting newsletters? Do you use Facebook? Am I the old dog you can't teach new tricks?

Please leave a comment and say hi. Let me know what you think and what you've been up to.

  2. Hi, I've never been to your blog before though I've been getting your newsletters for ages. Blog is a much better idea than tiktok. You can actually say something meaningful and get a response. Are you the author who went on the road with their husband and lived in an RV going around USA? If so, how did that go? Was it fun? Did you get tired of it?

    1. Cathy,
Thanks for stopping by. Yes, I am the author traveling in my RV. We're still at it, almost 8 years later. Actually, we haven't moved much in the last four years. We're in the Pacific Northwest and really like it so we've been hanging out. Plus, we're not retired and it took us some time to find the work combination that was best for us. Now my husband has a job he likes and so do it.
Great to hear from you! Hope you'll come back soon!

    2. Wow. I can't believe it's been 8 years since you told us that or that I actually remember. Where does the time go? I imagine it has been a great experience one you'll never forget. I also like the idea of paring down possessions and living life without the burden of owning too much stuff. It's like travelling through life light.
