Spanking Stories Book Club: Mob Mistress by Renee Rose

Mob Mistress is Renee Rose's second book in her Bossman Series.

When hair stylist Lexi Tyler finds herself evicted from her apartment, her best friend sets her up with the mobster Bobby Manghini, knowing he likes to play sugar daddy. He offers her a luxury apartment overlooking the city and spending cash every time he sees her, but one thing is clear: he is the bossman.

Lexi soon discovers Bobby backs up his rules with firm, over the knee discipline, but he also takes responsibility for all her problems, giving her more support than she ever dreamed of having from a man

Mobster Bobby Manghini likes to be the man in control, particularly with women, which is why he prefers a mistress for sex, even though he’s no longer married. When he strikes a deal with Lexi to be at his beck and call, he finds in her the full package -- a hot, intelligent woman who is turned on by his dominance and willing to submit to his punishment. But when she finds out he doesn’t have a wife, she is hurt by the deception and severs all ties.

Can he prove to her their relationship meant more than a business arrangement? Or will he lose the one woman willing to give him everything he ever desired?

Publisher’s Note: This book contains spanking, anal sex and hot scenes that may keep you up late reading.

Let's get right to the discussion!

1. What is it that makes mobster so sexy? Are we being foolish to admire men who are, at best, skating very close to the line of illegal activities?

2. Lexi goes into this relationship as more of a business proposition---she needs money and a place to stay. Bobby wants a mistress. Do you think you'd be able to do that? Would you prefer it?

3. Lexi believes Bobby is still married, but he's really divorced. He doesn't do anything to dissuade her from that idea. More of a sin of omission, in my opinion. What do you think? Is not telling the whole truth as bad as an outright lie? Is it worse?

4. What is the appeal of being a kept woman? Is it one of those things that's better in fantasy than reality? Or would you be willing to give it a try?

  2. There is something about her needing help & him rescuing her that is so appealing. Even though it's a business arrangement, he makes the sex hot & sexy, instead of cheap or deamining.

    1. Yay, I'm glad it wasn't demeaning. On one hand, something about the objectification is hot, but on the other, I wanted it their chemistry to be real. :)

  3. Great questions....I'm going to play even though I haven't read the book. :)

    1. I think the power a mobster wields can make them sexy, and the element of danger is just downright exciting.

    2. I don't think I'd be able to do this, though I might be tempted for a few seconds, but it's a fantasy that's fun to read about for sure.

    3. Depending on the situation, an omission of truth can be just as bad as a lie. If a man knew I thought he was married, when he was single, and we had some kind of relationship, I'd be pretty crazy mad over it. But I don't think it's really any worse than a lie.

    4. This is a fun fantasy...kind of like being in a harem just waiting for the prince to come claim you whenever he wants you, but there aren't any other women. I imagine this sort of arrangement would be terribly exciting, even more so if your sexy, dangerous mob guy is a spanker. :)

    Happy Friday!
